Chamber Committees Need YOU! You are the Key to the Chamber! Chamber committee involvement offers members an excellent opportunity to take an active role in planning and implementing programs and strategies to achieve the Chamber's goals. While participating on committees, you will be networking with other members, increasing the visibility of your company, and ultimately enhancing the success of our community. Industrial Development - Provides resources to assist in the recruitment, retention and expansion of industrial businesses in the Marshall area. Meets weekly on Friday, 12 Noon, locations vary. Education - Encourages educational excellence in the community. Government Affairs - Monitors local, state and federal legislation and represents the local business community in public policy. Meets the second Monday of each month, 12 Noon, Wooden Nickel. Ambassadors - Recognizes businesses with the presentation of First Dollar and Progress Awards. Meets the first and third Thursdays of each month, 11 AM, Chamber office. Downtown Council - Meets to provide information and support for downtown business discussions. Meets monthly, first Tuesday of the month, 8 AM, Chamber office. Marshall Leadership Academy - Plans the annual Marshall Leadership Academy sessions. Meets as needed. Sounds of Summer Planning - A committee to coordinate the annual community festival. Meeting times and dates to be determined. Meeting times and dates may change due to conflicts.
